Yipee yay! Cheerleading's over:) Performance was fine, time flew really fast! Many people loved Sapphire's formation, stunts and all-which gave us alot of satisfaction! Unfortunately we weren't first/second. Sapphire came in third (2nd last yr) but its good though, since we were pretty satisfied with it knowing we did well compared to other houses which had mainly dancing and only few stunts. We had 3sets dancing,and 5sets of some different/unique stunts which we had learnt from professional cheerleaders of the Singapore team from RP while other houses used the stunts that the seniors had done the previous yrs-- 3 minutes well used! Oh yes, our uniforms were the BEST! Really=D. Garnets' was nice too-since we had the same tailor,our materials and designs were similar to some extent. In the beginning we were at the verge of withdrawing from the competition since 2 of our most important bases-whom without 3 out of 5 stunts would be eliminated-had fallen sick-running high fever! We were so depressed thinking 2 months preparation had been for nothing, we had been practising really hard-all of us Sapphire cheerleaders had been giving alot of priority to our practises at the expense of going to classes with incomplete assignments and falling asleep during lessons..The teachers in charge on sports meet did not permit those who had reported unwell earlier that day to participate in the cheerleading event. However, luckily our captain sort of 'brain-washed' the office stuff and sneaked Calvin and Fiza out,so we did it in the end even with 2casualties! Thank you God:) Main thing's that we had lots of fun when we joined in the gaiety doing the routine=] I'm so glad we're done,so no more coming home late in the night everyday, can't wait to catch up on sleep! We love our captain,it wouldn't have been possible without her! Crap,there's gonna be biology:Enzymes & proteins test on Tuesday-the longest topic's test on the longest day. I'm falling asleep........Have a great weekend people,happy vesak day&happy early birthday to Rachel and Rini darlings!! GO-FIGHT-WIN-SAPPHIRE! 4 minutes to save the world;)
