Asha
I've finally decided to post today:) argh we've got to complete our 'Tan kah kee' graded inventors project, which our group totally hasn't started on! Goodness I'm still clueless about what to do! Anyways, its the end of week 1 of our so-called June in which we had to go back to school almost everyday: SEL camp which was pretty much of no use, and chemistry lessons since we haven't completed the last topic tested for mid-years. I'm totally lost in chemistry ever since we moved on from the topics we had covered during PAE-now its even more complicated stuff with all the data booklet stuff ( Energetics is killing me!) Oh yes, we found out that the greyish black cat we see in school everyday (that Doven & Lisa are terrified of) has a name- LAUREN:) pretty name. I'm not afraid of it, but I don't fancy touching it much which is what Nicole does even when I tell her not to. Last week, we had CIP day on Thursday..my group had been allocated Zhangde primary school by choice;) we had to go there class by class to speak to the kids about dengue fever after a little skit. So we met up at Tiong bahru mrt (miss that place:( sigh)...I led the way since we often passed by the school last time, unknowingly I took the side gate route which was longer than using the main...whoopsy! But at least I got the right place=D It was pretty fun there, we spoke to about 10 classes consisting of Pri 4s & 5s.. the school felt quite tiny when we were inside actually.. There was this really scary formidable class! Doven & Yu xi regarded it as the barbaric class- the minute their teacher said "Enter the cass" they started slamming the doors really loudly, throwing chairs violently all around, felt like some volcano had erupted-there was utter chaos-the whole class was a perfect pandemonium! There was this little kid that Doven said she'd want her son to be like..heh had tied 2 lil red things on his ultra short hair and had that 'Up to something' look- he threw this skinny kid on the hard ground and started wrestling with him! I was horrified & dumbfounded. The whole class was scary; the students' behaviours seemed as though contributing to noise was a rule in that class. I had come to that conclusion when I saw this innocent looking petite girl slowly making her way to her seat & once she sat down, she opened her mouth really wide and started screaming for no particular reason! We assumed she was just trying to 'help' contribute to her class's noise production. The class beside it was an absolute opposite of their's, they were practically being tortured by the teacher, honestly! Sweeping the floor, getting shouted at,being asked to 'get out' of the class for smiling etc. Here are some pictures we took that day:)

let's see...
